photowalk - u of t - part 2

warning - blurry photos ahead. we got to u of t and sat outside convocation hall. we counted about 5-6 weddings and one was quite hilarious because an entire italian tour group joined one of the bridal parties. the boy found a toonie in the grass.

then we walked around and took a bunch of photos but mine are so blurry that i can't bring myself to post too many of them. this one of the designer was one of the best.

luckily, i had to change to my 50 lens for the trinity chapel photos; however, even some of these are blurry - i had a filter on that lens as well.

i got a few decent photos out of the 100 at trinity college; however, they are not nearly as sharp as i would want them to be.

we were hungry after our expedition and the designer suggested butler's pantry in its new mirvish village location. we went and had a nice dinner out on the patio. the boy's tandoori chicken penne was surprisingly delicious - i think i may get that if i go back. we chatted until the sun set and then checked out a couple of vintage stores. i loved the jewellery and the clothing (preloved style) at the 1st store. i am inspired to finally take that sewing class i've been eyeing. at the 2nd store, we all tried on glasses without the lenses and funny hats / head coverings. i loved one of the hats but it was too expensive for me for a vintage hat that i'll never wear. it makes me want to take a millinery class. i looked into one at george brown but i'm not qualified. plus do i really want to make hats? titi bought a bunch of stuff at this store.

then we went to bmv books on bloor street and i purchased a book called artist's materials. i have grand plans to turn a third of the living room into an art space. i figured we can put my jewellery and sewing supplies there plus all our painting and drawing stuff. maybe even our wrapping paper, cards, fancy paper, and ribbons. in the winter, it can be our gift wrapping station. but the boy says he doesn't want to use the space because he finds it too structured so it will be all mine.
