second haircut in...

it was very unusual for me to get a haircut after the wedding. this was my second haircut in less than a year and i don't normally get it cut so frequently. recall my last haircut in january, right before the chile trip. i only had a trim because i wanted to have enough hair for my big wedding bun. it was so long that i ached to cut it in the weeks leading up to the wedding. it felt so good to get it all snipped off. i wanted it shorter but this will do until next year.

it was very very unusual for the boy to get a haircut after the wedding. this was his second haircut in nearly 8 years. that's right, eight (8) years. but you're thinking, "his hair is always so short?" well, he normally cuts it himself but wanted to leave it to the professionals this time. if you ask me, i think he just wanted the head massage.
