tinkle's 3rd birthday

oh dear, we completely missed tinkle's 3rd birthday. we were in tokyo and had completely forgotten. even up until a couple minutes before i started this blog entry, i thought tinkle's birthday was at the end of october. a quick check of my archived photos revealed that it was actually september 28. oops.

why am i thinking about this at 6:45 a.m. on a saturday morning?

we reached a milestone yesterday: i've always had aggressive plans to pay off the condo and we made a large lump sum payment towards that goal. i feel excited and happy and hopeful. to celebrate, i bought japanese food for us. i would have taken more photos but i was so hungry that i put the camera down to focus instead on hand-to-mouth action.

i consider this to be tinkle's belated birthday celebration. 3 years!
