who killed the electric car?
the designer and i watched a movie a few years back that got us all incensed and up in arms (it doesn't take much). the movie was called who killed the electric car? and it was all about corporate greed.

towards the end of the movie (i believe), we learned about the tesla roadster, basically an electric sports car. the designer immediately proclaimed that the tesla was a "hot car" but it didn't strike me in the same way. i was too concerned about its uglier - but still beloved - cousin, the ev1.

that was until i saw a tesla in person recently. the designer was right. the tesla is a hot car. while it is not yet available in canada, william ashley got a hold of one and rested the car gently on 4 bone china teacups. william ashley has the best displays.
