dua4 and ansco

my first foray into ttv! i received my two TLRs in the mail on monday. i eagerly unwrapped both parcels but it took a while because they were packed so carefully. images of my new babies to follow but here are my first couple of preliminary images. i can't wait to try the whole setup outside!



dua4 - a much tinier camera than i expected but he's oh so very handsome! my G10 would not focus on the image (even with manual focusing) so i built a long contraption for my 100 lens. however, the focal length is too long so it's awkward for me to hold. i had to guess at the focus before putting my lens in the contraption so the above image is out of focus. i'll have to try again or get the boy to try as he's bigger and has longer arms. or i could build another contraption for a lens with a shorter focal length.



ansco - this is a bigger camera and very retro looking. apparently, the design has won some awards in the distant past. i thought i purchased a pink camera but it's actually green. i thought i was sent a different camera but, now that i look at it more, i think it just reflects light in an odd way. it's in very good condition so i'm not complaining. the viewfinder is bigger so my G10 does focus on the image and i was able to build a much smaller contraption that is also much easier for me to use. i took a ttv pic of seal puppy.
