man versus nature

let the blog marathon begin! i have 12 days off and nothing to do. ok, aside from doing a ton of chores and seeing family, friends, and former coworkers. but that still leaves many hours for blogging.

i finally started my guatemala scrapbook - i've had the prints for over half a year and they will collect dust no longer. i became inspired when arranging the layout for my hundreds of photos. i was again particularly taken aback by the beauty of central america - in both nature and man-made structures.

so as i sit and have my own battle with nature (i.e. i took a long nap today and refuse to again sleep so soon), i will start a 12 day, 42.195 kilometre stroll by posting a few more photos from my october 2007 guatemala trip.
