the birth of a new blog

i've always wanted a blog. so much so that i apparently created one in august 2005. my old blog was designed to chronicle my adventures in what was then my greatest passion: food. i suppose i was somewhat nervous about starting a blog so i did a trial run on a password protected word document. sadly my usb key flopped out on me and i've lost all my entries. that's what i get for playing it safe.

this new blog will be a cornucopia of sorts. let's call it an environmentally friendly journal. a green scrapbook. my shiny new blog will still include yummies for my tummy but it will also include pretty places, pretty things, pretty people, and my pretty fiance. basically all things sweet. i will keep my old "ellesy eats" blog name with my lonely "test" post because i'm nostalgic that way.
