before august 8

the day before our wedding was a nice and relaxing friday. we picked up our wedding car, a bright fire engine red ford mustang, which we promptly dubbed musty. not very creative but the name stuck. it was a gorgeous day! the blue sky was dotted with fluffy clouds so we drove with the top down and i very nearly got a sunburn. the boy seemed to really enjoy driving musty. the below photo of him reminds me of the photo of him driving the speedboat in bayahibe.



we picked up a few last minute wedding supplies and then we drove to woodbridge to get the engagement ring cleaned. we were hungry so we stopped into cora's afterwards for a late breakfast. as we waited for our food, we played a version of snakes and ladders that also doubled as the boy's placemat.



and then our food came so we ate and ate.



after brunch, we went back to tinkle, we did stuff around the condo, i took a quick nap, and then it was time to meet titi and the designer. we had my last single girl dinner at wendy's - i have been craving a junior bacon cheeseburger and fries - and then we went to buff nail lounge for our manis and pedis.

i love looking at all the different nail polish colours even though i always gravitate towards the same shades. lately, red (the true blue kind - like the colour on my toes in the below photo) has been grabbing by attention but it would have clashed with some of the details in the wedding so i opted for a neutral. i can't say i love to get my nails done but it's growing on me.

the designer brought her own purple and i have never seen a shinier set of nails. i literally could not believe it.
