fun with photoshop

my penchant to be distracted by pretty things is often to the detriment of my school work. i spent a lot of hours doing silly things in photoshop today. when i say silly, what i really mean is totally rad! now i know how amazing photographers like lifeimages, mimmo+naz, justin demers, and 5ive15ifteen create their fabby fine art photos... or at least i strongly suspect so.

while my attempts with my 2008 photos are extremely amateur, they have yielded some interesting results. i am drawn to that washed-out, antiquey vibe despite my aversion to the classic sepia look. i'm tempted to stay up all night but i don't function well without sleep. i will practice again tomorrow and i promise myself that it won't take up my whole day.
