the end of an era?

do 8 years, 5 months, and 4 days add up to an era?

today is a special day. it is my last day at my first real job. there are many many things i won't miss but i'll not dwell on the negative. i'll instead remember the things i will miss:

• getting in at 8:30 a.m. and leaving at 4 p.m. every day
  
• waking up at 8:15 a.m. and still making my regular hours
  
• coming home at lunch for a quick nap
  
• chitchatting with a few of my coworkers
  
• snatching up free goodies from the fcp sessions

speaking of fcp, check out this goody i snatched up on my last session for 2008 (but hopefully not for ever and ever). i'm not into shimmery shadows but i sure like taking photos of them. i quite like taking photos of anything really.
